For a long time, I didn’t realize that HR professionals undergo training to become ID37 Masters. Admittedly, I also deal much more directly with executives. That has changed in recent years, and I find it inspiring and enriching that I am now in regular contact with a number of HR professionals, mostly in the field of talent development. This is really exciting for me, partly because I’m a curious person and I’m incredibly interested in how Gen Z is actually faring in the workplace, where the “overall” issues lie within the company, and exactly how this cultural shift is being received.
I think we all deserve to experience truly excellent HR work. To that end, it helps when my own professional group—external coaches—leaves their egos at the door. We can best achieve effective workforce development by working together. Let’s empower one another and build “robber ladders” for each other. By that I mean that, as coaches, we should let go of a little bit of what we used to claim as “mine!” Because when a lot of people do great work and pull together, things turn out really well.
We’re currently in the process of building in-house expertise for several clients at once. In one case, this means that we will offer selected managers a short coaching training program so that they can become even better mentors. And in the other case, it means that I offer to train HR professionals to become ID37 Masters in the ID37 personality analysis. My vision is that, by joining forces and maintaining a strong sense of continuity, we will support leaders, develop talent, and bring about positive cultural change. HR professionals can use ID37 to contribute to content development, supervise peer groups, support leadership transformation, positively influence organizational culture, and serve as strong partners for leaders.
To put it simply: what are the benefits of pursuing ID37 Master certification as an HR professional?
+ Educate employees about intrinsic motivation and foster acceptance of others’ differences
+ Support executives as a sparring partner in their day-to-day challenges—with in-depth knowledge and a motivation-driven approach
+ Enrich recruiting processes with motivation-based considerations or even integrate ID37 into applicant management*
+ Enhance talent management through objective personality analysis
+ Positively influence those cultural elements that are relevant based on an understanding of motivation
and so on and so forth
I know that a lot of people are currently annoyed by all the self-promotion going on everywhere. But what can I say: I just enjoy teaching. Anyway:
You can find all my current training dates on the ID37 Company website. I’ll be visiting these regions! This year: 2 trips to Münster, 1 to Kassel—and for anyone with wanderlust: 1 to Copenhagen.
In addition, there are also online sessions and sessions taught in English. If you’d prefer a more personalized experience, feel free to come see me in Hamburg.
There’s already quite a bit to explore here on my website, and even more will be available in a few days.

* I’ve heard that a huge law firm in Hamburg received the following feedback from a job applicant: “I’m really sorry I didn’t get the job.” The personality assessment interview was so insightful and really highlighted how professionally your HR department operates. What a shame, what a shame—I’ll always remember you fondly. “People usually run into each other twice in their lives.”
