Once Upon a Time—a book I discovered

I’m having a hard time dealing with the sheer number of self-help books. I think this abundance actually makes some problems even worse, rather than minimizing them. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for books that truly inspire without adding too many new “recipes” to people’s “to-do lists.” One such book is “Once Upon a Time.”

Once upon a time…

Don’t worry—you don’t have to write an autobiography, and certainly not a fairy tale about yourself. Instead of exhausting self-improvement tips, the sketchbook “Once Upon a Time” offers one thing in abundance: plenty of space. In addition to simple exercises like “turn off your phone for 1 hour a day,” there are plenty of wonderful exercises that are inspiring and help you connect with your own sunny side. Who am I? What are my strengths? What do my family members say about me? In the second part of the book, you can explore the topic of your dream job as much as you like. It was designed and written (in English) by Lavinia Bakker from the Netherlands.

This book is perfect for typography enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates minimalist design and space for notes. If you’d like, you can get the book from me; I always have a small supply here. Because it’s just beautiful.
