A Time to Celebrate! Free Offers for My 20th Anniversary

On February 3, 2003, I took the plunge into self-employment. It was a gentle start, because a dear former colleague asked me if I could—please, please—manage a huge project in the packaging sector as a freelancer; she had just won the pitch for it. At the same time, an acquaintance called and told me that her bosses had founded their company while still in college and had never really experienced life at a creative agency—and they weren’t quite sure if things couldn’t be done more professionally. That’s how I landed my first major project management assignment and my first management consulting assignment. A great start—completely unexpected, and somehow, it wasn’t really part of my plan. As the child of an entrepreneur, though, I didn’t have any major reservations.

I’ve now been at this for a full 20 years. Every year, every month, every week, and every day, I’ve taken a step forward, moving step by step along my own path. The result of these years of experience is now on display on my newly updated website —I look forward to welcoming many visitors.

Over the years, there have been some VERY remarkable experiences involving shady people, shifting values, and—I’m sorry to say—criminal activity, from the rank and file all the way up to executive positions. It was tough, but it was also helpful—because, for me, people and events mark both the path I’m on and the detours I’d rather leave behind and let others take. Fortunately, there have been so MUCH MORE INCREDIBLY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES with I don’t know how many thousands of people. They all elected me to accompany them, to support them, and to be inspired by them and their ideas. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Every single one of these people makes my job my calling. Not to mention some fantastic, enriching, and supportive colleagues.

Atze Schröder (also from the Ruhr region, just like me) likes to say with a sigh, “Aaaah, all the layers are all jumbled up again.” That’s how it is for me, too. Right now, I’m still rearranging a level or two and smoothing out the rough spots. But all in all, if lightning were to strike me tomorrow, I’d go out of this world as a deeply content person who loves life and people.

And: I love to give! That’s why I’d like to spend a few celebratory days and hours to mark my anniversary, and I’d love for you all to join me. Each of the following offers is for you all.

Coaching Workshop “What Inspires Me” September 4, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
The Zurich Resource Model (ZRM) is one of the most ingenious coaching tools among thousands. Gestalt therapist Maja Storch, working closely with the scientific community (e.g., with Prof. Julius Kuhl, whom I also greatly admire), has developed a methodology to activate resources from the unconscious and achieve greater self-determination. This isn’t about hocus-pocus or rose-tinted positive psychology, but rather about neuroplasticity: When we learn something new, existing neurons extend fine projections toward neighboring cells, creating new connections in the brain! This allows us to break away from old patterns of thought, making new ways of perceiving, thinking, and acting possible. In this workshop, every participant will learn about and apply the ZRM—with direct benefits for their own daily lives.

6-hour in-person workshop, including a break; admission is free. The number of participants is limited to 14.

Constellation Workshop “What Gives Me Strength” October 9, 2023, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
For many years, I avoided constellation work because it scared me. Today I’m glad I mustered the courage to dive right in. That’s how it is in my profession: I have to lead the way, trust myself, and experience it firsthand—only then can I guide others into this space and offer them the chance for insight, discovery, and resolution. Anything else would be inauthentic and out of the question for me. On this day, we’ll use the past-present-future timeline to see where support awaits us: is there someone from the past who was a formative and important figure, and with whom we still want to connect today? What serves as a resource today? And what does the “highest self”—that is, our future self—have to say about undiscovered potential? A wonderful format that’s perfect for getting a taste of constellation work. Constellation work can sometimes feel a bit heavy. Here, we want to keep it light.

6-hour workshop, including a break; free admission. The number of participants is limited to 10.

Coaching Workshop “What Keeps Me on Track,” November 20, 2023, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
When I first came across Julius Kuhl’s PSI theory, I thought I was losing my faith. Up until then, so many of my coachees had inexplicably lost the drive to take action in the process of achieving their goals… And with PSI theory and the accompanying battery of tests, I suddenly found something that could explain this loss of energy. Since then, I’ve been able to help people become genuinely more successful in achieving their goals. In this workshop, I’ll introduce the PSI theory, and we’ll put it to work! PSI Theory allows us to define goals and achieve them in a highly effective and sustainable way. This puts an end to failed New Year’s resolutions! Everyone goes home with a valuable takeaway.

6-hour in-person workshop, including a break; admission is free. The number of participants is limited to 14.

Virtual Lecture (Zoom) Dec. 7, 7:00–8:30 p.m.
“Simply Self-Determined—How People Can Develop”
Just as most of us don’t know how a cell phone works, we’re equally unaware of how our psyche “works.” In this talk, I’ll share some insights into how personality develops, what the most important aspects are, how motivation actually “works,” why stress is (also) good, and how we can engage with ourselves in a healthy way. It will be a journey across a wide range of topics, covering helpful insights from the pioneer Freud all the way to the modern interpretation of the “inner child.” I’ll introduce some methods that I particularly enjoy working with and that have proven very effective in my daily practice.

1.5-hour presentation (Zoom) and discussion, free of charge; there is no limit on the number of participants.

Virtual Lecture (Zoom) January 9, 2024, 7:00–8:30 p.m.
“Simply Effective—Animal-Assisted Work,”
The newest addition to my work is my dog Paula (a Labrador). We spent a year training, both in theory and practice. As a certified human-animal team, we are now authorized to work for and with patients and clients. This presentation explores what a dog brings to coaching and therapy. What an animal can do for us humans is truly amazing—not only emotionally, but also physiologically. I’ll introduce my work with Paula and, using a few case studies, explain what an individual personal development process—supported by animals—looks like.

1.5-hour presentation (Zoom) and discussion, free of charge; there is no limit on the number of participants.

Here’s a really important tip:

A special note here: my esteemed colleague Silke Heyne works at my practice and offers a service that I highly recommend. She offers something that many of my clients could really benefit from: cleansing, clarification, and strengthening through Reiki, as well as support for processes of transformation through Theta Healing. We collaborate, and so I’d also like to mention here that we’ve coordinated our efforts and she, too, has some special offers for you. Please take a look here: https://shyne.today/themen/
